Starting today, the horror Truth or Dare (aka Truth or Dare) is available in DVD and Blu-ray formats and also for VOD thanks to Universal Pictures Home Entertainment Italia.
Produced by Blumhouse Productions (Judgment Night, Split, Best Wishes for Your Death, Escape - Get Out) and directed by Jeff Wadlow (Nickname: Riddler), Truth or Dare debuted in Italian theaters last June.
Plot: Olivia (Lucy Hale) and Lucas (Tyler Posey) reunite with their friends in Mexico. There they meet Carter, a boy who will involve them in the game "Truth or Dare." The carefree and innocent pastime, however, will turn into a terrible nightmare when the kids involved must confront a mysterious evil entity that will punish with death those who do not abide by the rules of the game.
The cast of Truth or Dare stars Lucy Hale, Violett Beane, Landon Liboiron, Tyler Posey, Sophia Taylor Ali, Hayden Szeto, Nolan Gerard Funk, Aurora Perrineau, Morgan Lindholm and Tom Choi. The film's screenplay is by Jillian Jacobs, Michael Reisz, Christopher Roach and Jeff Wadlow.
The latter two co-wrote the script with Jeanette Volturno and Couper Samuelson.
