This month, three horror films are on the theaters.
Starting Nov. 6, the sci-fi horror film Predator - Badlands by Dan Trachtenberg, while Shelby Oaks by Chris Stuckmann and Il primo figlio by Mara Fondacaro will arrive on November 19 and 27, respectively.

Nov. 6: Predator - Badlands
Directed by Dan Trachtenberg (Prey) and written by Patrick Aison, Predator: Badlands is the ninth installment in the Predator franchise initiated by John McTiernan in 1987.
The film stars Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi and is currently in theaters, distributed by 20th Century Fox.
The story takes place on the planet Genna, regarded as one of the most dangerous worlds in the entire universe. To win respect and prove his worth as a hunter, Dek, a young Predator outcast from his clan, embarks on a lonely journey in search of an utterly unbeatable opponent.
During his mission he finds an unlikely ally in Thia, a “synthentic” created by the Weyland-Yutani Corporation.

Nov. 19: Shelby Oaks
Compared to The Blair Witch Project and Hereditary, the supernatural horror film Shelby Oaks will debut in Italian theaters on Nov. 19, distributed by Midnight Factory.
The film blurs into found footage and features first-time director Chris Stuckmann, who also wrote the screenplay.
The story sheds light on one woman's obsessive search for her missing sister, which will lead her into a terrifying mystery at the hands of an unknown evil.
The cast includes Camille Sullivan, Brendan Sexton III, Michael Beach, Robin Bartlett, Keith David, and Derek Mears.
Shelby Oaks is the highest-funded horror film in Kickstarter history with over $1.3 million raised.

Nov. 27: Il primo figlio
Il primo figlio is an Italian horror film, winner of the SIAE Cinema Award for Best Screenplay at the 18th Rome Film Festival.
Written and directed by Mara Fondacaro, the film deals with the theme of motherhood and stars Benedetta Cimatti, Simone Liberati, Lorenzo Ferrante and Astrid Meloni.
In theaters Nov. 27, distributed by Lo Scrittoio.
Plot: Ada and her partner Rino move to a villa surrounded by nature. Pregnant with their second child, the girl begins to relive the pain of losing her firstborn son. This leads her to think that he has returned from the afterlife to prevent the birth of his brother. Is this really happening or is Ada losing her mind?
