November 2019: horror movies in theaters

Among the films showing in theaters in November are: the horror comedy Zombieland: Double shot e l'horror sovrannaturale Countdown.
Initially set for Nov. 21, the Italian release of the horror thriller The Lodge has been moved to January 16, 2020.

NOVEMBER 14.
zombieland-2-poster-italianThe horror comedy about the living dead Zombieland: Double shot (aka Zombieland: Double Tap) will arrive in Italian theaters on Nov. 14 distributed by Warner Bros.
Directed by Ruben Fleisher, the film is a sequel to Welcome to Zombieland (2009) and features the return of not only the director but also the original cast of the first chapter.
The stars of the 2009 film in fact, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin, in this new installment again play Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita and Little Rock, characters that, in the midst of a zombie apocalypse, they will have to join forces to confront hordes of the evolved undead but also some groups of dangerous superstiti.
In the cast of Zombieland: Double shot there are also Rosario Dawson (Daredevil), Avan Jogia (Ghost Wars), Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley) and Luke Wilson (Vacancy).
Also involved in this sequel are Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the writers of the script for the first chapter, and also producer Gavin Polonelo.

NOVEMBER 21.

Written and directed by Justin Dec, the film was presented as a cross between The Ring and Final Destination.
In Countdown, a smartphone app is capable of revealing, to those who download it, the exact moment of death, triggering a diabolical game that will leave the protagonists no chance.
Plot: Quinn (Elizabeth Lail) is a young nurse struggling with an app that reveals the exact date of a person's death. In turn, she and her friends discover that the "Countdown" app leaves no escape and is impossible to uninstall. As the hours pass and the end approaches, the boys will have to find a way to save themselves before it is too late.
The cast of Countdown includes Elizabeth Lail (You), Talitha Bateman (Annabelle: Creation), Peter Facinelli (Twilight saga), P.J Byrne (Green Book, Rampage), Anne Winters (Night School), Tom Segura (Instant Family), Jordan Calloway (Black Lightning, Riverdale) and Tichina Arnold (Everyone Hates Chris).
