Three horror films will be released in Italian theaters this month. On November 7, the Japanese horror comedy will make its theatrical debut. Zombies vs. zombies. The next day is the turn of Overlord, the ferocious zombie movie about Nazi experiments directed by Julius Avery while Upgrade, the violent Australian sci-fi/horror film directed by Leigh Whannell, will be released instead on Nov. 22.

Nov. 7: Zombies vs. zombies
Zombies vs. zombies (aka Kamera o tomeru na!) is a low-budget zombie horror comedy directed by Shuichiro Ueda. The film will be released in theaters in our country on November 7 through Tucker Film.
Plot: a television crew is busy on the set of a zombie b-movie in an abandoned World War II military compound. The situation comes to a head when the crew is attacked by real living dead.
In the cast of Zombies vs. zombies (Giappone - 2018) troviamo Takayuki Hamatsu, Yuzuki Akiyama, Harumi Shuhama, Kazuaki Nagaya e Hiroshi Ichihara.

Nov. 8: Overlord
Overlord (USA - 2018) is a film that embraces the war and horror genres resulting in a zombie movie based on human experiments. In fact, the story takes place during World War II and features a group of American soldiers who come across a terrible Nazi experiment.
Produced by J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot and directed by Julius Avery (Son of a Gun), Overlord will debut in Italian theaters on Nov. 8 with 20th Century Fox.
Plot: On the eve of D-Day, some American soldiers land on Nazi-occupied French soil. Devastated by the war, this place has now become a scene of death in which inhumanity and savagery have accumulated. For here the Germans are conducting terrible experiments using their enemies as lab rats.
In the cast of Overlord include Jovan Adepo, Wyatt Russell, John Magaro, Jacob Anderson, Dominic Applewhite, Pilou Asbæk, Iain de Caestecker, Mathilde Ollivier, and Bokeem Woodbine.
The screenplay for the film is by Billy Ray (Hunger Games).

Nov. 22: Upgrade
Upgrade (Australia - 2018) is the new sci-fi/horror film directed by Leigh Wannell, screenwriter of the franchise Saw and director of Insidious 3 - The Beginning. Produced by Blumhouse, the film will be released in Italian theaters starting Nov. 22 thanks to Universal Pictures.
Logan Marshall-Green (Prometheus, The Invitation) stars in this sci-fi body horror set in a future where technology controls all aspects of human life.
Plot: rimasto paralizzato in seguito ad un incidente, Gray Trace si affida ad un'azienda sofisticata nella speranza di poter camminare nuovamente. Grazie ad un impianto sperimentale chiamato Stem che prevede l’inserimento di un chip nel corpo, Trace scoprirà di essere diventato un'indistruttibile macchina da guerra.
