I Am Not A Serial Killer è un thriller horror diretto da Billy O'Brien, il regista di Isolation - La Fattoria del Terrore and Spark. IFC Midnight has released the official trailer and poster for the film while also revealing the release date (Aug. 26), both for VOD and U.S. theatrical distribution.
Plot: John Wayne Cleaver (Max Records) is a dangerous 16-year-old, full of morbid obsessions and homicidal tendencies that he struggles to keep under control, however. When a serial killer begins terrorizing the small Midwestern town, John will release his inner demons in order to protect the people around him.
The film's screenplay was co-written by the director himself along with Christopher Hyde.

Il film è l'adattamento cinematografico del romanzo "I am not a serial killer" scritto da Dan Wells nel 2009 e in cui il protagonista è un quindicenne sociopatico che sviluppa una dipendenza per l'obitorio amministrato dalla famiglia e presso cui lavora come addetto al lavaggio delle salme. Il giovane è oltretutto esperto di tecniche tassidermiche e di decomposizione. "I am not a serial killer" è il primo volume di una trilogia dedicata a John Wayne Cleaver. Seguono infatti Mr. Monster (2010) e I Don't Want To Kill You (2011).
