Universal has just shared the official Italian trailer for Nosferatu (2024), l'horror gotico scritto e diretto da Robert Eggers (The VVitch) e che vede Bill Skarsgård (It, It – Capitolo due) nel ruolo del Conte Orlok.
Following Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979) by Werner Herzog, the film is the second remake of Nosferatu the vampire (1922), considerato il capolavoro di Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau e ispirato liberamente al romanzo "Dracula" (1897) di Bram Stoker.
Nosferatu will be released in U.S. theaters on Dec. 25 while the Italian date has not yet been announced.
The story of the new Nosferatu sheds light on Ellen Hutter (Lily-Rose Depp), a troubled young woman in 19th-century Germany, and on Count Orlok (Bill Skarsgård), the dangerous Transylvanian vampire who, obsessed with her, stalks her.
Willem Dafoe (Streets of Fire, The Shadow of the Vampire, John Wick), Lily-Rose Depp (Tusk, Silent Night), Nicholas Hoult (Mad Max: Fury Road, Renfield), Emma Corrin (Lady Chatterley's Lover), Bill Skarsgård (It, It - Chapter Two) and Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass, Bullet Train) also star.
