Nope è il terzo film di genere horror che vede alla regia Jordan Peele, il regista di Escape - Get Out and We. Ad annunciare il nuovo film, svelandone il titolo e il poster, è stato lo stesso regista con un messaggio su Twitter.
The release date is set for July 22, 2022, in U.S. theaters, distributed by Universal.
La sceneggiatura è a firma di Jordan Peele, il quale si è occupato anche della produzione di questo nuovo progetto insieme a Ian Cooper della Monkeypaw Productions. Daniel Kaluuya (Scappa – Get Out), Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead), Keke Palmer (Scream), Barbie Ferreira e Brandon Perea invece saranno i protagonisti del film.
