Freddy had a family! Well yes, before he started cutting up innocent young people, the monster had a proper family, until he decided to strangle his little wife. Needless to say, in this chapter, which should have closed the series for good, Krueger will have to deal with his own flesh and blood: daughter Maggie. Given and considering that there is now only John left to kill, Freddy would like to change towns, but his meeting with Maggie and the related family bond between the girl and Krueger will ruin the monster's plans: the woman will manage to bring him into reality for the inevitable final confrontation!
Sad ending for a character of unquestioned charm: the episode does not even hold a candle to the previous chapter; it will take Craven to bring the series back to the nastiness of the very first chapters.
The film that was released in theaters also had a component to be seen in 3D, which ended up being very short and of poor quality.
To be saved a few cute murders, with no major bloodshed, and a couple of monster jokes, when it doesn't fall into ridicule.Directed by Rachel Talalay.
To the music Brian May, this time out of place at times.
