New photos for Nightmare Symphony, l'horror che omaggia Lucio Fulci e nel cui cast sono presenti, tra gli altri, l'attrice e regista italiana Poison Rouge e l'attore kosovaro Edi Hasan Lushi, il quale compare anche nella crew in veste di produttore. I due compaiono insieme in una delle nuove still che potete trovare in fondo all'articolo.
Poison Rouge è nota per aver diretto l'horror estremo American Guinea Pig: Sacrifice while Edi Hasan Lushi for his performances in Virus: Extreme Contamination and Mad Macbeth By Domitian Christopharo.
Directed by Domiziano Cristopharo and Daniele Trani (DOP: "Beyond the Ford," "Virus: Extreme Contamination"), Nightmare Symphony is a tribute to A cat in the brain (aka Nightmare Concert) by Lucio Fulci. The film also features the screenwriter and composer of the 1990 film. The script by Nightmare Symphony in fact is by Antonio Tentori while the main theme is by Fabio Frizzi. Music will be by Antony Coia (Scarecrowd, Xpiation) while special effects are by Jacopo Tomassini (Last Day).
Also in the cast is Frank LaLoggia, the American director of the cult film Scarlatti (Lady in White) of 1988. In Nightmare Symphony, LaLoggia plays himself i.e., a director called in by an unscrupulous producer to finish an old "cursed" film of his that was never completed. An unemployed former actor (Halil Budakova) will try to get a part in the project but the horrors of the screen will mix with reality.
Nightmare Symphony, first co-directed by Domiziano Cristopharo and Daniele Trani, is a UK (Ulkurzu), Italy (Enchanted Architect) and Kosovo (Hh Kosova) production.
The cast, in addition to the aforementioned Frank LaLoggia, Poison Rouge and Edi Hasan Lushi, also includes Kosovar actors Halil Budakova and Merita Budakova (both previously seen in "Mad Macbeth" e "Virus: Extreme Contamination" along with Lushi) and Pietro Cinieri.
