TetroVideo has just released the new poster for the giallo-horror Nightmare Symphony (Italy - 2019), the homage to Lucio Fulci directed by Domiziano Cristopharo (House of Flesh Mannequins) in collaboration with Daniele Trani (DOP: "Oltre il guado").
Il film è stato presentato in anteprima mondiale all'Ischia Global Film & Music Fest and appears among the Official Selections of the World Film Festival of Los Angeles and the Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival.
The film will be distributed by TetroVideo In early 2021.
Nightmare Symphony is, in particular, a tribute to A cat in the brain (aka Nightmare Concert) by Lucio Fulci. The screenwriter and composer of the 1990 film are also involved in the film. The screenplay of Nightmare Symphony in fact is by Antonio Tentori while the main theme is the original from A cat in the brain Edited by Fabio Frizzi.
The soundtrack, on the other hand, is by Antony Coia (House of Flesh Mannequins, Xpiation).
Nightmare Symphony stars Frank Laloggia, the director of the cult Scarlatti - Lady in White, qui nel ruolo di se stesso ovvero un regista chiamato da un produttore per completare un suo vecchio film “maledetto”. Al suo fianco, in un doppio ruolo, c’è l'attrice italiana Antonella Salvucci (The Torturer, Bloody Sin).
The cast includes Antonio Tentori himself and director Poison Rouge (AGP: Sacrifice). They are joined by Pietro Cinieri (The Curse of the Crying Child), Irene Baruffetti (Mad Macbeth) and Kosovar actors already seen in Virus: Extreme Contamination: Edi Hasan Lushi, Halil Budakova and Merita Budakova.
Nightmare Symphony is a UK (Ulkurzu), Italian (Enchanted Architect) and Kosovo (Hh Kosova) production.
Special effects are by Jacopo Tomassini (The Obsessed).
