Angela decides to celebrate Halloween night with her friends in a secluded cottage. It is here that the young people will awaken evil....
We are looking at a little gem from the distant 1980s directed by Kevin S.Tenney (Spiritika, Bad Pinocchio, Witchboard).
The film, with strong references to Lamberto Bava's Demons and Sam Raimi's The House, has won the Cult Movie label especially in America.
It is a low-budget movie with marvelous special effects and a high gore rate, which apart from the simplicity and banality of the plot and dialogue, possesses unforgettable macabre and unhealthy atmospheres (the film's strong point), made even bleaker by camera movements reminiscent of those in Evil Dead.
Noteworthy in the cast are Linnea Quigley (memorable nipple scene), author of the strip-tease on a tombstone in Return of the Living Dead, and Amelia Kinkade who gives us a sensual dance to the tune of Stigmata Martyr by Bauhaus and kicks off the contagion.
Other typically 80s pieces follow.
Not to be confused with Michel Levesque's film of the same name, better known by its original title Werewolves on Wheels (1971).
