Diretto da Panos Cosmatos (Beyond the Black Rainbow) il quale ha scritto la sceneggiatura in collaborazione con Aaron Stewart-Ahn, il film segue la storia di Red Miller (Nicolas Cage) e di Mandy Bloom (Andrea Riseborough), una coppia affiatata la cui vita viene stravolta quando il sadico Jeremiah Sand, il leader di una misteriosa setta, farà rapire la donna scatenando l'ira e la vendetta del marito.
In the cast of Mandy appear Nicolas Cage (The Chosen One, Ghost Rider), Andrea Riseborough (Oblivion, Nocturnal Animals), Richard Brake (31, 3 from Hell), Linus Roache (Batman Begins), Olwen Fouéré, Ned Dennehy (Dorothy Mills, The Woman in Black 2 - The Angel of Death), Bill Duke, and Hayley Saywell.
Producing the film are Daniel Noah, Josh C. Waller and Elijah Wood (SpectreVision), Adrian Politowski (Umedia) and Nate Bolotin (XYZ).
Mandy will debut in US theaters on September 14, 2018.
