RLJE Films has revealed the official trailer for. Mandy (USA – 2018), l'horror diretto da Panos Cosmatos (Beyond the Black Rainbow) e in cui, oltre ai chiari rimandi al cinema ottantiano (Hellraiser, Mad Max), non passano inosservate forti dosi di violenza e incantevoli sequenze psichedeliche. Il film è interpretato da Nicolas Cage (Il prescelto, Ghost Rider), qui nel ruolo di Red Miller, un uomo distrutto e tormentato che darà la caccia ad una pericolosa setta religiosa responsabile di aver rapito la sua amata Mandy (Andrea Riseborough) e per aver distrutto la sua vita.
In the cast of Mandy, oltre a Nicolas Cage, ci sono anche Andrea Riseborough (Oblivion, Animali notturni), Richard Brake (31, 3 from Hell), Linus Roache (Batman Begins), Olwen Fouéré, Ned Dennehy (Dorothy Mills, The Woman in Black 2 - L'angelo della morte), Bill Duke, Hayley Saywell e Sam Louwyk.
Director Panos Cosmatos co-wrote the screenplay with Aaron Stewart-Ahn.
Producing the film are Daniel Noah, Josh C. Waller and Elijah Wood (SpectreVision), Adrian Politowski (Umedia) and Nate Bolotin (XYZ).
Mandy will debut in US theaters on September 14, 2018.
