Poster and second trailer for Willow Creek (2013), the first horror film in the found footage genre, written and directed by Bobcat Goldthwait, whose filmography includes several short films, feature films, and TV series.
The unique feature of this film, which will be shown on New York screens (and VOD) on June 6, is linked to the character it deals with, namely Bigfoot.
Cinema offers few genre films about this gigantic, hairy figure, but if you are a fan of the legendary ape-like creature and enjoyed titles such as “B is for Bigfoot,” (The ABC's of Death), “Exists,” “Bigfoot County,” “Bigfoot,” “Nightbeasts,” “Abominable,” the recent “Bigfoot Wars,” and many others, then you shouldn't miss this one.
Protagonists of Willow Creek They are Bryce Johnson and Alexie Gilmore, two actors who are by no means newcomers but have experience in the film industry. The two play Jim and Kellie, a couple who travel to Willow Creek National Park in the hope of filming the creature.
Unfortunately, the forest hides something sinister that will endanger their lives.
