The Nun - The Vocation of Evil is directed by Corin Hardy (The Hallow) on a screenplay by Gary Dauberman (It) and James Wan (the creator of the saga).
Focused on the demon in the guise of a nun, The Nun is the spin-off of The Conjuring - The Enfield Case (2016), the second installment in the saga that began with The Conjuring - L'Evocazione (2013).
Romania, 1952. At the request of the Vatican, young nun Irene (Taissa Farmiga) and Father Burke (Demian Bichir) reach an abbey to investigate the mysterious suicide of a cloistered nun. The place, however, is subdued by a diabolical nun (Bonnie Aarons).
