Open Reel has purchased the rights to distribute the Phantasmagoria, an Italian-French collaboration consisting of three horror episodes born from an idea by Mickaël Abbate.
Phantasmagoria is a ghost movie inspired by the great classics of Italian filmography but also by the latest generation of foreign films.
The three segments are: Diabolique By Mickaël Abbate, A Snake with a Steel Tongue by Domiziano Cristopharo (Doll Syndrome, Red Krokodil, House of Flesh Mannequins...) and My Gift to You by Tiziano Martella (effects and make-up artist of Morituris, M is for Mouth, Eaters).
The screenplay of Phantasmagoria was edited by Mickaël Abbate, Domiziano Cristopharo and Tiziano Martella with the collaboration of Raffaele Picchio (Morituris), Lorenzo Paviano (screenwriter of Recording and Finché morte non ci separi), Riccardo De Flaviis and Davide Chiara.
The cast includes Alberto Cattaneo, Cristina Puccinelli, Venantino Venantini, Michel Addams, Maya Dolan, Julien Bonfanti, Sophie Pâris, Ilaria Balluchi, Vittorio Castellano, Dee Dee Barksdale, Donata Inghirami, Poison Rouge, Agathe Teller and Marta Manni.
