XLrator Media has released a new image of The Windmill Massacre (aka The Windmill) and announced the release date for U.S. theaters, set for Oct. 28. On October 25, however, the film will be available for video on demand and on iTunes. Meanwhile, we attach the new artwork to the article.
The Windmill Massacre is a Dutch horror film in which the producers of Frankenstein's Army namely Nick Jongerius and Daniel Koefoed. The former as director and screenwriter while the latter as producer.
Plot: Jennifer (Charlotte Beaumont) is an Australian girl who reaches Amsterdam to leave her past behind. To escape the authorities, she joins a group of tourists interested in visiting the famous windmills, icons of Holland. A bus breakdown, however, forces all the passengers to seek shelter in a disused shed near a sinister windmill. Here, according to legend, a Devil-worshipping miller buried the bones of locals instead of grain. The arrival of intruders, however, will rouse the miller from sleep, eager to feed his soil with the blood of new victims.
The screenplay is by Chris W. Mitchell and Suzy Quid. The script, on the other hand, is by director Nick Jongerius.
The cast includes Charlotte Beaumont, Noah Taylor, Patrick Baladi, Fiona Hampton, Ben Batt, Adam Thomas Wright, Tanroh Ishida, and Bart Klever.
