Indimenticabile, la prima, per i suoi ruoli in film come "Le colline hanno gli occhi" (1977), "L'ululato" (1981) e "Cujo" (1983). Vanta nella sua fimografia (di oltre 200 titoli) anche tantissimi film di genere più recenti come "Halloween - The Beginning" (2007), "Little Red Devil" (2008), "The House of The Devil" (2009), "Exit Humanity" (2011) e "Red Christmas" (2016).
Tyler Mane invece è meglio noto per aver interpretato Rufus Firefly ne "La casa del diavolo" e anche Michael Myers nei due "Halloween" di Rob Zombie: "Halloween - The Beginning" e "Halloween II".
Directed by Marcus Bradford on a script co-written by the director himself with Pat Kusnadi, Witchula has been presented as a powerful horror film in which several subgenres converge.
Oltre a trattare diverse figure del panorama horror (vampiri, streghe, lupi mannari), il film gode di una creatura ibrida ovvero quella della strega-vampiro qui interpretata da Dee Wallace. Quest'ultima tormenterà una giovane studentessa in dolce attesa perché interessata al suo bambino. Per la ragazza sarà difficile sbarazzarsi della diabolica e ossessiva presenza.
In the cast of Witchula other well-known actors in the horror scene are featured. These include Bill Oberst Jr. (Circus of the Dead, The Chair, Death House) and Eileen Dietz (actress who gave Pazuzu the face in the film The Exorcist). They are joined by Marilyn Ghigliotti, Ruth Reynolds, Tade Adepoyibi, Jeremy Tristan, Destiny Soria, Anil Sankaramanchi, Joseph Love, and Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th, Death House, Wild Game).
In Witchula Kane Hodder will also appear as stunt coordinator.
MAB Studios and Silent Studios Productions are signing on to produce the film. Producers then include director Marcus Bradford, screenwriter Pat Kusnadi, John Blythe (My Amityville Horror, One Day When the Rains Fell) and Matt Chassin (Krampus - The Christmas Devil, Krampus 2 - The Devil Returns).
