The anthology film E.N.D. - The Movie will be screened during il "Lunedì Nero" del TOHorror on May 2 alle ore 21:00. Il "Lunedì Nero" è un appuntamento mensile organizzato dall'organizzazione del noto festival torinese. L'evento si tiene presso il Blah Blah di Torino (via Po, 21) ogni lunedì del mese (da aprile a luglio 2016). Durante le serate si assisterà alla proiezione di diversi film. Composto da tre segmenti collegati tra loro, E.N.D narra un intreccio di storie che si svolgono durante un arco temporale di circa dieci anni. Il titolo è in realtà l’acronimo del composto chimico della cocaina impura che in quest'opera è la causa dell’epidemia.
The film opens with a prologue, "Day Zero", in which a girl snorts cocaine.
Follows "Days 1 and 2", the second segment written and directed by Luca Alessandro and Allegra Bernardoni. Location chosen for this short film is an Italian funeral home where the protagonists are unaware of the contagion that is rampant outside the facility.
"Reveniens" (Day 1466) is the title of the second segment, directed by Domiziano Cristopharo on a script by Antonio Tentori. Here, in a world overrun by the living dead, a woman will try to give birth to the child she is carrying.
A concludere l'antologia è il terzo episodio dal titolo “Z-Sapiens" (Day 2333), directed by Federico Greco and showing a world dominated by zombies.
