John A. Russo, the screenwriter of the masterpiece Night of the Living Dead, has been involved in directing a new horror film entitled. My Uncle John Is a Zombie!, currently in post-production. In the cast of this new project, the trailer for which is already available, are familiar faces of the horror film scene such as Lloyd Kaufman, the king of Troma and one of the heroines of this label namely the scream queen Debbie Rochon.
Sinossi: un vecchio zombie (il regista John A. Russo) è stato tenuto nascosto dai nipoti per oltre quarant'anni. Il morto vivente diventa famoso quando la gente, dopo averlo scoperto, viene a conoscenza che può anche comunicare e ragionare proprio come se fosse vivo. The cast of My Uncle John Is a Zombie! consists of John A. Russo himself, Gary Lee Vincent, Cy-Fi, Lloyd Kaufman, Debbie Rochon, Chuck Corby, Sarah Corby, Sarah French, Russ Streiner, Danielle Inks, George Kosana, Alexander Shields, Nicholas Knight, Brad Roberts, and Nicole Roberts. The screenplay is by Russo.
Recall that in the past John A. Russo also worked on the script of the Return of the living dead di Dan O'Bannon e ha diretto Heartstopper, Santa Claws, Midnight, Midnight 2 and Voodoo Dawn. He is also currently involved in other horror projects from the titles Midnight (announced) and Escape of the Living Dead (in pre-production).
