Anthony Edwards, l'attore di Living Cemetery 2, The Forgotten and Zodiac, directs his second feature film viz. My Dead Boyfriend, una black comedy interpretata da Heather Graham (La vera storia di Jack lo squartatore - From Hell). L'attrice interpreta Mary, una ragazza che scopre la vera identità del suo fidanzato teledipendente solo dopo averlo trovato morto. In My Dead Boyfriend, il peso del lutto porterà la protagonista a vivere un'avventura sorprendente.
Plot: Mary's life has never been bright. After a series of temporary jobs and a failed attempt to become a writer, a terrible tragedy deeply marks her. One day, returning home, she finds her boyfriend (Rich Graff) dead in front of the TV. Between funerals, reunions with exes, and a series of strange circumstances, Mary will accidentally discover a side of her now deceased partner that she did not know at all.
The screenplay of My Dead Boyfriend was written by Billy Morrissette. In addition to Heather Graham, the cast includes Griffin Dunne (An American Werewolf in London), Gina Gershon, Rich Graff (Black Wake), Katherine Moennig, John Corbett, Scott Michael Foster, and Viola Harris.
The film will debut in U.S. theaters on Nov. 4 thanks to Momentum Pictures and Orion Releasing. It will also be available for VOD on the same day.
