Circulating on the net is the teaser poster (below right) of The Musk, lo slasher movie diretto dall'italo-americano (Massachusetts) George Nevada, qui al suo primo lavoro in ambito cinematografico. Nel progetto rientrano anche diversi personaggi di nazionalità italiana, fra cui il noto regista Domiziano Cristopharo, qui in veste di aiuto regia e di produttore esecutivo. George Nevada invece si è occupato anche dello script e della produzione di The Musk.
In the photo to the left, however, you will find the first image in which we catch a glimpse of the mutant that will most likely kick off a new slasher franchise.
With The Musk, George Nevada intende omaggiare il filone nato negli anni '70 con Chain reaction di Mario Bava. L'opera di Nevada, secondo quanto affermato dallo stesso regista, godrà di tutti i cliché del genere, senza dimenticare una velata componente umoristica.
Plot: A farmer accidentally comes in contact with a meteorite that transforms him into a ferocious mutant. Disguised as a scarecrow to hide his appearance, the new being begins to be guilty of horrific crimes.
Making up the cast are actors Frances Williams, Antony Ferry, twins Raphael and Danny Willis, Ruby Miller, Fabrizio Occhipinti and Luana Jacovitti. FX is by Athanasius Pernath while music will be by Antony Coia.
