Earlier today, Netflix released the first images of the horror film Mr. Harrigan's Phone, a film adaptation of the short story of the same name featured in the anthology If the blood flows (2020) by Stephen King.
Written and directed by John Lee Hancock (The Founder, Until the Last Clue), Mr. Harrigan's Phone stars Jaeden Martell (IT - 2017) and Donald Sutherland (Killer Fire) and will arrive on Netflix on October 5, 2022.
The story sheds light on Craig (Jaeden Martell), a young man living in a small town, and his friendship with the elderly and reclusive millionaire Mr. Harrigan (Donald Sutherland) through their passion for books and reading. Their bond will be so strong that Craig will be able to communicate with his friend even when the latter passes away. Through an iPhone in fact, the young man will be able to establish a connection between life and death.
The cast also includes Colin O'Brien (Wonka, The Mothership), Cyrus Arnold (Run Hide Fight - Under Siege), Kirby Howell-Baptiste (Silent Night), Joe Tippett (The Morning Show), Thomas Francis Murphy, Peggy J. Scott and John Lee Hancock.
