A new clip from Morgan, the sci-fi thriller-horror directed by Luke Scott, the son of the better-known Ridley. The film stars Anya Taylor-Joy (here playing a synthetic little girl), the young star of the acclaimed horror film about witchcraft The Witch, da oggi tra l'altro nei nostri cinema. Morgan will be available in U.S. theaters starting Sept. 2 while it will arrive in our theaters two months later that is, starting Oct. 6 thanks to 20th Century Fox Italy.
Trama: la consulente aziendale Lee Weathers (Kate Mara) raggiunge un laboratorio di ricerca top secret per seguire da vicino i progressi di Morgan, una ragazza sintetica apparentemente innocua. La teenager ha però subìto uno sviluppo precoce e potrebbe rappresentare una minaccia per la troupe di scienziati che l’ha creata. Lee Weathers ha dunque il compito di indagare sul suo caso, valutarlo e decidere se portare a termine o meno l'esperimento.
The screenplay of Morgan Is by Seth W. Owen. Also in the cast, in addition to Anya Taylor-Joy, are Jennifer Jason Leigh (The Hateful Eight, eXistenZ), Paul Giamatti, Kate Mara, Toby Jones, Rose Leslie (The Throne of Swords), Boyd Holbrook, and Michelle Yeoh.
