Dopo la featurette e il teaser trailer diffusi in questi giorni, arriva online anche il trailer ufficiale di Morbius (USA – 2022), l’adattamento cinematografico dei fumetti Marvel creati da Roy Thomas e Gil Kane con protagonista Morbius, uno degli antagonisti dell’Uomo Ragno e di Blade.
Produced by Sony and directed by Daniel Espinosa (Life: Don't Cross the Line), Morbius vede protagonista Jared Leto (Blade Runner 2049, Suicide Squad), qui nei panni del Dr. Morbius.
Il film arriverà al cinema il 1° aprile 2022.
Plot: il Dr. Michael Morbius, un brillante scienziato che, nel tentativo di trovare una cura per una rara malattia del sangue, si trasformerà accidentalmente in un vampiro dopo essersi sottoposto ad un trattamento sperimentale. Disgustato dalla sua nuova identità , lo scienziato decide di soddisfare la sua sete di sangue nutrendosi dei malviventi che non meritano di rimanere in vita.
Nel cast, oltre a Jared Leto, ci sono anche Archie Renaux, Matt Smith, Michael Keaton (Batman), Jared Harris (The Ward – Il reparto), Adria Arjona, Tyrese Gibson, Charlie Shotwell e Corey Johnson.
The script of Morbius is edited by Matt Sazama and Burk Shapless, the screenwriters of Dracula Untold (2014) and of The Last Witch Hunter - The Last Witch Hunter (2015).
