Morbius: postponed release date for cinecomic starring Jared Leto

Sony has announced a new release date for Morbius, film adaptation of the Marvel comics created by Roy Thomas and Gil Kane starring Morbius, one of the antagonists of Spider-Man and Blade.
Produced by Sony and directed by Daniel Espinosa (Life: Don't Cross the Line), Morbius is written by Matt Sazama and Burk Shapless, the screenwriters of Dracula Untold (2014) and of The Last Witch Hunter - The Last Witch Hunter (2015) and will see the light of day in US theaters on January 28, 2022.

The film stars Jared Leto (Blade Runner 2049, Suicide Squad), here as Dr. Michael Morbius, a brilliant scientist who, in an attempt to find a cure for a rare blood disease, accidentally turns into a vampire after undergoing an experimental treatment. In the cast of Morbius, in addition to Jared Leto, also appear Archie Renaux, Matt Smith, Michael Keaton (Batman), Jared Harris (The Ward), Adria Arjona, Tyrese Gibson, Charlie Shotwell and Corey Johnson.
