U.S. release date announced for Monstrous (USA - 2022), the horror film starring renowned US actress Christina Ricci (The Addams Family, The Mystery of Sleepy Hollow, After.Life).
Directed by Chris Sivertson (My Killer's Name, All Cheerleaders Die), Monstrous will have its world premiere at Glasgow's FrightFest on March 12 while it will debut in U.S. theaters and on streaming platforms on May 13.
An Italian release date has not yet been announced at present.
Plot: Traumatized by an abusive relationship, Laura (Christina Ricci) runs away from her ex-husband with her seven-year-old son Cody. Unfortunately, in their new, idyllic home, mother and son will discover they have another monster to face, a terrifying creature that will test their sanity.
Rounding out the cast are Santino Barnard, Don Baldaramos, Lew Temple (House of the Devil), Carol Anne Watts (Ant-Man), Peter Hodge , Nick Vallelonga and Collen Camp (Die Hard - Die Hard).
The screenplay is by Carol Chrest.
