Scream queen Debbie Rochon makes her directorial debut with Model Hunger, uno slasher al femminile che sarà distribuito in DVD quest'estate grazie alla WildEye Releasing. Ricordiamo che la Rochon (Serial Kaller, Killer Rack) is a prolific Canadian actress known in the independent horror film world, particularly for her roles in Troma films.
Model Hunger vanta nel cast la presenza di Lynn Lowry, l'attrice statunitense che ha interpretato l'infermiera Forsythe in Shivers - Un demone sotto la pelle (1975) di David Cronenberg e che nel film della Rochon è Ginny, un'ex modella e attrice pin-up fuori di testa.
Abstract: Ginny is a middle-aged woman who as a young woman was rejected as both a model and a pin-up actress. The woman has never accepted being rejected, accumulating much anger and desire for revenge over the years. Her new neighbors, Debbie and Sal, intrigued by her strange lifestyle, will try to find out more about her.
