Directed by Douglas Schulze himself in 2011, the zombie movie Mimesis: Night of the Living Dead is an homage to George Romero while instead Mimesis: Nosferatu focuses on vampirism and is a tribute to Nosferatu by F.W. Murnau.

Trama: alla Harker Arts Academy, gli studenti ucciderebbero per avere la possibilità di recitare nello spettacolo della scuola. Purtroppo quest'anno potrebbe essere il prezzo da pagare. Il cast è composto da Lance Henriksen (Aliens - Scontro finale, Il buio si avvicina), Allen Maldanado, Connor Alexander, Kristy Swanson, Julie Kline, Calhoun Koenig, Mandalynn Carlson, Derek Brandon, Spring Lyons e Joseph Scott Anthony.
The screenplay was written by Schulze and Jeff Meyers.
