Il mese di settembre, Midnight Factory propone, oltre all'uscita di Somnia (we talked about here) also that of the highly anticipated Goodnight Mommy (aka Ich seh, Ich seh), l'horror psicologico austriaco scritto e diretto da Severin Fiala e Veronika Franz (Kern). Presentato alla 72° Mostra Internazionale d'Arte Cinematografica di Venezia e candidato agli Oscar dall’Austria come Miglior Film Straniero, Goodnight Mommy sarà disponibile per l'Italia a partire dal 22 settembre in DVD, Blu-ray e digital download.
As per Somnia, also the edition of Goodnight Mommy will be enriched by a booklet containing trivia about the film, the filmmakers, and the protagonists.
The protagonists of the story are ten-year-old twin brothers whose mother undergoes facial surgery that forces her to be away from home for several hours. Returning to her children with her face completely bandaged, the woman will be looked upon with suspicion by the twins who will begin to doubt that she is their mother.
In the cast: Susanne Wuest, Elias Schwarz and Lukas Schwarz. Ulrich Seidl produced the film while cinematography is by Martin Gschlacht.
