The previously unreleased and highly anticipated 31 by Rob Zombie will be available from April 6 (physical format and digital download) in a limited edition thanks to Midnight Factory/Koch Media. The DVD and Blu-ray offered in the market come with an exclusive booklet and seven collectible villain cards. The film version, on the other hand, is uncut.
World premiered in the "Midnight" section at the Sundance Film Festival, 31 is written and directed by Rob Zombie (The house of a thousand bodies, The House of the Devil, The Witches of Salem). This is a slasher/horror starring, in addition to the director's partner and muse Sherie Moon Zombie, Malcolm McDowell (Kiss of the Panther, A Clockwork Orange), Richard Brake and a host of other actors including Judy Geeson, Meg Foster, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, Ginger Lynn, Daniel Roebuck, Jane Carr, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Torsten Voges, Pancho Moler, Bari Suzuki and Devin Sidell.
Plot: On October 30, 1976, five employees of an amusement park are kidnapped. Led to "Murder World," a dilapidated industrial building, they will be forced to participate in a game called "31." The abductees will have twelve hours to fight for their lives, which will be endangered by the villainous The Heads, dangerous psychopaths dressed as clowns.
