Sponsored by Shockproof, the event that was a great success in 2015 is back: the Michele De Angelis' Horror Picture Show in 35mm.. The film event will begin on October 31 and end on November 4. Festival locations are the CITY OF THE OTHER ECONOMY and the MACRO TESTACCIO in Rome.
During these five days rare and unobtainable films from the private collections of Michele De Angelis (producer and director) and Simone Starace will be screened. Both are the creators of Shockpoof, the new Italian label specializing in cinema of worship (Italian and otherwise).
During the festival aimed at celebrating 35mm films, in addition to such well-known films as The Cube and Jacob's Ladder, will be screened such unobtainable classics as The Cannibal man, Blue Sunshine and The Strange Vengeance of Rosalie, all in vintage Italian prints, for a total of 15 must-see films.
In addition to film screenings, there will be a video market, thematic exhibitions and meetings with authors.
