Nel mese di maggio, la programmazione dei film al cinema prevede l'uscita in sala dell'horror The Strangers - Prey at Night directed by Johannes Roberts. Instead, it slips from May 17 to September 6 the release date of Slender Man by Sylvain White.
Distributed by Notorious Pictures, The Strangers - Prey at Night will arrive in theaters on May 31. Written by Bryan Bertino and Ben Ketai, the film is a sequel to. The Strangers (2008) and is directed by Johannes Roberts, a director who distinguished himself with The Other Side of the Door (2016) and 47 meters (2017) and who also previously directed Hellbreeder, Darkhunters and Forest of the Damned.
Plot: a family sets out on a road trip to reach distant relatives. The trip will become dangerous when the family unit arrives at a remote abandoned trailer park. During the night in fact, three psychopaths with masked faces will visit them to play with their lives.
In the cast of The Strangers - Prey at Night troviamo: Christina Hendricks, Bailee Madison (Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark), Martin Henderson (The Ring) e Lewis Pullman (Aftermath). I villain "Dollface", "Pin-Up Girl" e "Man in the Mask" sono interpretati rispettivamente da Emma Bellomy, Lea Enslin e Damian Maffei.
The screenplay was written by Bryan Bertino (The Strangers) and by Ben Ketai (Jukai - The Forest of Suicides).
