A24 has shared the official poster for MaXXXine, the third installment in Ti West's X slasher/horror trilogy.
Written and directed by Ti West, MaXXXine is the direct sequel to X (2022) and is played by Mia Goth, the protagonist of the saga.
Produced by A24, the film will be released in U.S. theaters on July 5, 2024.
The story features Maxine Minx, a girl who, after surviving the massacre in X, chases success by being an actress in 1980s Los Angeles. She finally gets her big break but a serial killer obsessed with Hollywood stars leaves a trail of blood that threatens to reveal her sinister past.
The cast of MaXXXine, in addition to Mia Goth (Suspiria), also includes Kevin Bacon (Hollow MAn), Elizabeth Debicki (The Burnt Orange Heresy), Lily Collins (Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile), Giancarlo Esposito (The Usual Suspects), Michelle Monaghan (Blood) and Bobby Cannavale (Ant-Man).
