We remember you that Pearl (2022) is the prequel to the horror slasher X (2022) and centers on the character Pearl, the elderly woman played by Mia Goth (Marrowbone, Suspiria) in the first chapter. In the prequel, however, we find the actress in the role of an ambitious young woman living with her parents, and the story takes place in 1918.
Pearl will debut in U.S. theaters on September 16, 2022 while the Italian release date has not yet been announced.
Mia Goth will also return to the cast of the sequel MaXXXine to play the role of Maxine again after the events of X. La ragazza continuerà a inseguire il successo cercando di fare l’attrice nella Los Angeles degli anni '80.
La sceneggiatura e la regia di quest'ultimo capitolo della trilogia sarà a firma di Ti West.
