In addition to Dead Girls don't Tango (1992), TetroVideo will also soon be distributing another film by John Carr (Night Train To Terror). It is about. Marilyn Alive and Behind Bars (1992), a horror thriller that, like Dead Girls don't Tango, will be available in January in a digitally restored edition (Mediabook + DVD with Italian and French subtitles).
Marilyn Alive and Behind Bars is actually Scream Your Head Off, film iniziato dal regista John Carr insieme allo sceneggiatore Philip Yordan nei primi anni '80. Secondo quanto rivelato dallo stesso regista, alcune sequenze del film ancora incompleto sono state incorporate nell'horror antologico Night Train to Terror (1985).
Successivamente, i produttori decisero di realizzare una versione "completa" del film, utilizzando quasi tutto il materiale filmato: questa versione uscì con il titolo Scream Your Head Off only on VHS, becoming, over time, a rare collector's item.
Years later, John Carr shot new sequences with John Philip Law and adding the character Marilyn Monroe (Francine York) to the story.
Apparently, during the initial filming, some scenes were shot twice, with semi-disclothed girls. The nude version of these sequences can be found in Night Train to Terror, a film that also incorporates more gory moments than Marilyn Alive and Behind Bars.
