According to Deadline, Mickey Rourke (Angel Heart - Ascensore per l'inferno, Nightmare Cinema) è entrato a far parte del cast di Mammon (USA - 2020), l'horror che segna il debutto alla regia di Isaac Walsh.
L'attore e sceneggiatore statunitense sarà affiancato da Taye Diggs (Il mistero della casa sulla collina) e da Jessica Uberuaga (Vigilante Diaries).
Il film è dedicato alla "Mammona", termine usato nel Nuovo Testamento per indicare la ricchezza materiale, generalmente con connotazioni negative e cioè accumulata e sprecata rapidamente, in modo disonesto.
Written by Isaac Walsh himself in collaboration with Tyler Clair Smith, Mammon stars a struggling young couple who pursue the American dream only to sink into a nightmare. Indeed, their lives will change drastically when they realize that their home is haunted by an evil spirit. Only then will the two discover that getting rich can cost them dearly.
