Online the new poster for Malum (2023 - Italy, USA), the Satanic cult horror written and directed by Anthony DiBlasi (Dread, Cassagada, Last Shift).
Malum is the reboot/revisitation of the very Last Shift (horror film directed by the same director in 2014) and will arrive in U.S. theaters on March 31 with Welcome Villain Films.
Plot: On her last shift, new police officer Jessica Loren (Jessica Sula) finds herself in a decommissioned barracks, once the haunt of a vicious cult. Here she will be swept up in terrifying paranormal events that will reveal a shocking truth involving her family and a crazed cult leader.
In the cast of Malum they include Jessica Sula, Candice Coke, Chaney Morrow (Haunt), Clarke Wolfe (Satanic Panic), Kevin Wayne, Morgan Lennon, Valerie Loo, Monroe Cline (Don't Worry Darling), Eric Olson (Raising Helen), Britt George (True Blood), Danielle Coyne, Natalie Victoria, and Christopher Matthew Spencer.
The screenplay is by DiBlasi himself in collaboration with Scott Poiley while the special effects are by RussellFX (Hellraiser, The Ritual, The Night House).
