It will be titled Malorie the continuation of Bird Box (USA – 2018), il romanzo da cui è stato tratto l'omonimo film targato Netflix. A rivelarlo è stato proprio lo scrittore Josh Malerman in un'intervista su Esquire in which he also added that his new novel, entitled Malorie, will explore not only the characters of Bird Box (the woman, boy, and girl) but also the creatures.
The release date of the novel Malorie is set for October 1, 2019.
Written by Eric Heisserer (Nightmare – 2010, The Thing – 2011, Lights Out) and directed by Susanne Bier, Bird Box stars Sandra Bullock.
Plot: A mysterious force decimates the world's population, and to survive, people must deprive themselves of sight. Facing the unknown, Malorie finds love, hope, and a new beginning, only to sink into grief. She tries to escape with her two children to reach the only place where they might be safe. With courage, the three embark on a long and dangerous journey with their eyes blindfolded.
