According to what was revealed to DiscussingFilm, the very young Violet McGraw has confirmed that she will return to the cast of M3GAN 2.0, sequel to the Blumhouse horror film about the android doll that was released last year and was a big box office success.
The screenplay of M3GAN 2.0 will again be by Akela Cooper (Malignant, The Nun 2) while Gerald Johnstone (Housebound), the director of the first chapter, will return to direct.
In the cast instead, in addition to Violet McGraw, we will also find again Allison Williams (Escape - Get Out), the protagonist of the first film.
M3GAN 2.0 Will arrive in theaters on January 17, 2025.
M3GAN was released in the United States on January 6 by Universal Pictures grossing $45 million worldwide against a budget of $12 million and receiving positive reviews from critics. In Italy, however, it debuted in theaters on January 4, 2023.
In M3GAN, Allison Williams is Gemma, a brilliant robotics expert who creates M3GAN, an android designed to become a child's greatest friend. She then decides to test the doll with her granddaughter Cady, whose guardian she has become after a tragedy involving the little girl's parents.
