New feature film in the works for Todd E. Freeman (Cell Count, Wake Before I Die), of which the first intense image is available thanks to Polluted Pictures. It is about Love Sick, a horror project whose protagonist will be the sultry Tristan Risk (Save Yourself, Fetish Factory, American Mary).
The Canadian actress and Francisco Barreiro (Here Comes the Devil) will play Rebecca and Marcus, respectively, a couple who decide to break off the long romantic relationship that has kept them together for a good 10 years. The two will travel new paths seeing new lovers but soon the pain caused by the separation will begin to show in both of them. Rebecca and Marcus will continue to love each other but this time to the point of hurting each other.
The cast, in addition to Tristan Risk and Francisco Barriero as the leads, includes Bill Moseley (House of a Thousand Bodies, House of the Devil, Babysitter Wanted), Jeffree Newman, Augie Duke, Andrew Sensenig, Ruben Pla (Contracted) and Barbara Crampton (You're Next).
In addition to directing, Todd E. Freeman also edited the story and screenplay for Love Sick.
Filming of the film will begin this winter. Polluted Pictures will present this project during the event Frontières International Co-Production Market at theIndustry Rendez-Vous of the Fantasia International Film Festival to be held this month from July 24-27, 2014.
