Directed by Andy De Emmony on a screenplay by Ronan Blaney and Cris Cole, Love Bite – Love to the last bite (UK - 2012) is an entertaining comedy/horror genre film that falls in the line about lycanthropy. Primarily tacked on the sexual sphere and love between teenagers, Love Bite offers, in the margins of the story, a cute werewolf skit to which is added a nice reinterpretation of the character Van Helsing.
In fact, the film features a group of English students constantly seeking adventure. Unlucky or unlucky as they may be, these teenagers will try to lose their virginity mainly so that they do not end up prey to a werewolf with a glutton for illiberated flesh.
Between constant sex jokes, embarrassing and hilarious situations, and lots of irony, Love Bite is able to offer the viewer hilarious and lighthearted viewing and even several laughs especially in the finale.
During summer vacation, Jamie (Ed Speleers) meets at a party Juliana (Jessica Szohr), a very sexy American girl with whom he becomes hopelessly enamored. Soon after the young woman arrives in town, however, virgin boys start disappearing. Sid (Timothy Spall), a werewolf hunter, is convinced that a werewolf hungry for fresh, innocent flesh is behind these mysterious disappearances.

Love Bite - Love at the Last Bite (UK - 2012) was released last March 22 in Blu-ray and DVD limited edition (Lucky Red label) thanks to Koch Media.
The Blu-ray version is good, presenting an enjoyable audio/video compartment. In the extras, however, there is only the trailer.
