On the occasion of the Halloween holiday, the well-known Italian band Ecnephias ha rilasciato il video ufficiale di "Lord of the Stars", traccia contenuta nell'album Ecnephias and which was released last February thanks to the My Kingdom Music label. We specify that the video clip, currently on the YouTube channel, is in a censored version and that the band will also make the uncut version available shortly.
A cimentarsi dietro la macchina da presa è Davide Sicarius D'Andrea, tastierista del gruppo che, oltre alla musica, riversa nel filmato anche la sua passione per il cinema horror. E così, la musica di "Lord of the Stars" si sposa a cupe immagini liberate dalla fantasia nefasta di Sicarius e intinte in una dimensione orrorifica in cui converge un insano erotismo accompagnato da un tocco di necrofilia.
Davide Sicarius D'Andrea ha curato anche lo script del videoclip e si è avvalso della preziosa collaborazione del regista Domiziano Cristopharo, uno dei massimi esponenti del cinema indipendente horror nostrano, nonché effettista, che nel video di "Lord of the Stars" si è occupato degli effetti speciali di make up.
The film features actors Nicole Ricciardulli and Diego Laino in addition to band leader Mancan and band members (Sicarius, Nikko, Demil, and Khorne).
La fotografia è di Giuseppe Pupillo mentre l'editing è di Giuseppe Di Gregorio. Si aggiungono i nomi di Rocco Figliuolo (camera operator) e Davide Perretta (set design).
