Neon has shared the final trailer for Longlegs, the horror film written and directed by Oz Perkins, the director of The Blackcoat's Daughter and Gretel and Hansel.
Produced by C2 Motion Picture Group, Longlegs is inspired by Hollywood classics and stars Maika Monroe (The 5th Wave, It Follows) and Nicolas Cage (Mandy, The Color Out of Space, Willy's Wonderland) who plays a ruthless serial killer.
The film will debut in U.S. theaters on July 12 while the Italian release date has not yet been announced.
The story follows Lee Harker (Maika Monroe), a new FBI agent who has been assigned to an unsolved case of a serial killer. As the investigation becomes more complicated, the young investigator realizes she has a personal connection to the merciless killer and must act quickly to prevent another family murder.
In the production of Longlegs there is also Nicolas Cage with his Saturn Films (The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, Pig) along with Dan Kagan (Significant Other), Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Insidious), Dave Caplan (The End We Start From) and Chris Ferguson (The Killer Doll).
Alicia Witt (Urban Legend) and Blair Underwood (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D) also star.
