Neon has shared the new trailer for Longlegs, the new horror film written and directed by Oz Perkins (February, Gretel and Hansel).
Produced by C2 Motion Picture Group, Longlegs is a psychological thriller/horror film inspired by Hollywood classics and starring Maika Monroe (The 5th Wave, It Follows) and Nicolas Cage (Mandy, Color out of Space, Willy's Wonderland), the latter as a serial killer.
The U.S. release of Longlegs has been set for July 12 while the Italian release date has not yet been announced.
Plot: FBI agent Lee Harker (Maika Monroe) is a new recruit assigned to the unsolved case of a serial killer (Nicolas Cage). While searching, the young investigator discovers she has a personal connection to the ruthless killer and must race against time to stop him before he exterminates another innocent family.
Also appearing in the film's production is Nicolas Cage with his Saturn Films (The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, Pig), along with Dan Kagan (Significant Other), Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Insidious), Dave Caplan (The End We Start From) and Chris Ferguson (The Killer Doll).
Instead, the cast also includes Alicia Witt (Urban Legend) and Blair Underwood (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D).
