Maika Monroe (The Fifth Wave) has joined the cast of Longlegs, the new horror film by Oz Perkins, the director of The Blackcoat's Daughter and Gretel and Hansel.
The U.S. actress, best known for playing the protagonist Jay Height in It Follows (2014) by David Robert Mitchell, will join Nicolas Cage (Mandy, The Color Came from Space, Willy's Wonderland), here in the role of a serial killer.
Plot: FBI agent Lee Harker (Maika Monroe) is a new recruit assigned to the unsolved case of a serial killer (Cage). During the search, the young investigator discovers she has a personal connection to the ruthless killer and must race against time to stop him before he exterminates another innocent family.
Produced by C2 Motion Picture Group, Longlegs is a psychological thriller/horror inspired by Hollywood classics, and the screenplay is by Oz Perkins himself.
