As mentioned last July (link to news story), director Jared Cohn was in charge of directing Little Dead Rotting Hood (USA - 2016), la nuova rivisitazione cinematografica in chiave horror della fiaba “Cappuccetto Rosso” dei fratelli Grimm. In questi giorni è stato diffuso il trailer del film accompagnato dal poster in cui compare la protagonista del classico racconto per bambini.
As can be seen from the poster and the trailer, the characters and thus also the story have been twisted in order to give the film a personal and original touch.
Sinossi: I residenti di una piccola cittadina cadono vittime di creature mostruose e feroci che si nascondono nel bosco. Lo sceriffo del posto cercherà di capire il motivo per cui i lupi che vivono nella foresta sono diventati così aggressivi e pericolosi. Anche la giovane Samantha, a suo modo, cercherà di dare il suo aiuto affinché l'orrore si arresti.
Of the screenplay of Little Dead Rotting Hood Gabriel Campisi was in charge while David Michael Latt's name appears in the film's production. The cast consists of Bianca A. Santos (Ouija), Eric Balfour (Skyline), Romeo Miller, Patrick Muldoon (Starship Troopers, Stigmata), Heather Tom (The Horror Vault) and Marina Sirtis (Waxwork 2 - Welcome Back to the Wax Museum, Speed Demons).
Little Dead Rotting Hood will be available on DVD (Cinedigm and The Asylum) starting next January 5, 2016.
