Unearthed Films has announced the distribution of two films involving Ruggero Deodato. In addition to Atroz by Lex Ortega, in fact, Stephen Biro's label will also distribute Lilith's Hell (Italy - 2015). This is a found-footage horror film directed by Vincenzo Petrarolo and in which the director of Cannibal Holocaust appears in a cameo, as himself, at both the beginning and the end of the film.
The screenplay of Lilith's Hell is curated by Davide Chiara (Nero Infinito, Phantasmagoria), while Marcus J. Cotterell, Danilo Valli, Federico Palmieri, Sebastiano Lo Monaca, Joelle Rigolett, Vincenzo Petrarolo and Elena Croce make up the cast.
Abstract: Young filmmakers Marco, Alberto and Ryan decide to make a mockumentary in homage to their favorite film, Cannibal Holocaust. The story of their mock documentary centers on boys who, threatened by the presence of a serial killer, barricade themselves in their homes and are forced to perform cannibalistic acts in order to survive. As a location, the three filmmakers choose Marco's grandmother's mansion, but after filming a backstage shoot with Sara and Michelle, the group will find themselves caught up in a terrible nightmare.
