Set in an octogenarian atmosphere, the story of Summer of 84 stars Davey Armstrong (Graham Verchere), a 15-year-old boy convinced that his neighbor, a policeman, is responsible for the murders that have rocked the town. With this conviction he spends his summer of 1984 and, with the help of his three best friends, begins to investigate the reclusive lawman. The naive kids' exciting adventure, however, will lead them to confront a very dangerous reality.
In the cast of Summer of 84 we find Graham Verchere (Fargo), Judah Lewis (The Babysitter), Caleb Emery, Rich Sommer,Tiera Skovbye, Cory Gruter-Andrew, Jason Gray-Stanford, Aren Buchholz, Shauna Johannesen, Susie Castillo, J. Alex Brinson, William MacDonald and Harrison Houde.
Shawn Williamson (Brightlight Pictures) and Jameson Parker produced the film while Matt Leslie is the co-producer. The latter co-wrote the film's screenplay with Stephen J. Smith.
