Artsploitation Films has acquired the U.S./Canada distribution rights to. Phobia (review here), l'horror antologico presentato da EuroObscura allo European Film Market (EFM) lo scorso 15 febbraio (link to news story). Phobia will be distributed under the title A Taste of Phobia on DVD and will also have a VOD date in May 2018.
The film involves 16 international directors who, in their episode, have treated and developed a specific phobia with originality. In fact, this choral horror film deals with some of the most unusual psychopathological manifestations such as Somniphobia (fear of sleeping), Pharmacophobia (fear of taking drugs), Gerascophobia (fear of aging) and many others.
A Taste of Phobia is produced by Tony Newton's "Vestra Pictures" in collaboration with Domiziano Cristopharo's "The Enchanted Architect" and Sam Mason Bell's "Trash Arts."
The Artsploitation Films label has handled the distribution of several horror films including Horsehead (link to review), Der Samurai, The Perfect Husband, Killbillies and Red Christmas.
